Speculation is swirling around a possible high-profile move to World Superbikes, with Jack Miller and Cal Crutchlow both being linked to a future partnership under the Honda banner.

With Toprak Razgatlioglu officially announced as joining Pramac Yamaha for 2026, the team will need to reshuffle its rider line-up — potentially pushing either Miller or Miguel Oliveira out of the squad. Miller, whose contract ends this season, appears to be the likeliest to make way.

Sky Sport Italy reports that Miller could be set for a switch back to familiar territory — with Honda reportedly preparing a multi-year offer to bring the Australian into their factory WorldSBK team starting in 2026, with the deal said to run through 2028.

Perhaps even more intriguing is the rumour that Crutchlow could be in line for a leadership role alongside Miller. The former MotoGP race winner and longtime Yamaha test rider is said to be a candidate for team manager of the Honda WSBK outfit.

Crutchlow hasn’t raced full-time since 2020 and has seen his testing duties reduced lately due to a hand injury. Yamaha has already begun distributing his responsibilities — first to Andrea Dovizioso and now to Augusto Fernandez, who debuted as a Yamaha tester at Aragon.

Given Crutchlow’s uncertain future with Yamaha and the lighter demands of the WSBK calendar, a management role could present an attractive next step. His close relationship with Miller, dating back to their time as teammates at LCR Honda in 2015, only adds weight to the rumour.
