Nicolò Bulega left Misano with two podiums, but also with frustration after an incident with Axel Bassani during the Superpole Race. The Italian rider didn’t hide his disappointment with how the situation was handled.

Speaking to GPONE, Bulega criticised Bassani’s lack of an apology: ‘No, and that’s what I regret the most. In the gravel he justified himself by saying the front wheel tucked, but it clearly happened after he hit me. I would have preferred if he came to the box to apologise to me and the team, not post an Instagram story. It was a stupid move in the first corner. A rookie mistake.’

Bulega explained that the collision impacted his entire Sunday, forcing him to start Race 2 from tenth — far from ideal at a circuit like Misano.

Despite salvaging two second-place finishes, the Ducati rider admitted the result fell short of his expectations, especially in front of his home crowd. The contrast with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu’s flawless hat-trick made the outcome harder to digest.

Tensions between the two Italian riders are now high, with Bulega demanding more respect and professionalism on the track moving forward.
